Applications Open March 1, 2024
Deadline to apply is Tuesday, April 16 at 11:59pm
Steps to Apply
New and returning courses are announced in early February. As you look to create your class list for next year, we ask AI applicants to:
- Decide which course(s) to apply to. You may apply up to three but may only participate in one.
- Determine if you are eligible and learn what will be required in your commitment. Read the full Commitment Form for all details.
- Review the question below that all seminars require. Some courses may also include additional questions. Draft your responses outside of the application and then submit the final version.
Application Question
Please write an essay (around 200 words) explaining why you are applying to this seminar. In particular, think about these two questions:
- How do you see this seminar contributing to your academic and/or personal growth and your growth as an artist?
- What do you think you could contribute to the seminar experience?
Among the possible topics to consider in forming your response:
- you have a long-term or recently discovered interest in the arts
- you have a desire to explore your own creativity
- you have a personal and cultural background, including experience in the arts
- you have relevant extracurricular activities that align with the course
Be specific and offer details that illustrate your experience and what you can contribute to the seminar.
